Q1. On what subject should I do training?

Ideally students should decide on Training Subject by keeping in mind on what subject he/she wants to do Project which is need to be submitted in 8th Semester as per the University curriculum. The main objective of students who wants to be a successful Engineer in his/her respective domain must do some innovative project work.
For example a student of Computer Science and Engineering decided that he/she wants to develop a new encryption technique. So he/she should start learning the different subjects required to develop the project from respective organizations during Industrial Training.

So in nutshell candidate must first decide on Project and then the Training.

Q2. Where from should I do the Training?

This is again very important point to consider. Before answering this question we first have to understand what exactly one should experience during Industrial Training.
Again take one example; suppose one student get into Hindusthan Aeronautical Ltd (HAL) for Industrial Training after the 6th Semester. During this training student must try to develop the idea which is required at the time of developing the project. He /she also should select a guide, one from Institute another from respective Industry.

Q3. Where from should one get the concept of Project?

Students should consult to the department teacher or anyone relevant to his/her field. Students can go to different institute where research work happens for example Jadavpur University, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Calcutta University, IITs, NITs, ISI etc. Students of CSE and IT can refer the project bank of IBM and Infosys etc.

Q4. Where from student should do the project?

Student should do the project during 7th and 8th Semester from respective organization where from they are doing Industrial Training. Successful completion of Industrial Project will definitely helps the student to get a job in that particular Industry.

Hence the cycle is as follws:

Step 1. Form a batch of at least five candidates.

Step 2. Decide on project concept

Step 3. Decide the Organization for doing Industrial Training.

Step 4. Start doing on project work as soon as the training ends.

Step 5. Prepare the best Project report.

I hope every student must follow this process for becoming a successful Engineer.
