Students are hereby informed that a very reputed core company, Alstom Power, shall be visiting on 27.05.10 (Thursday) at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College for recruitment of 2010 pass out B.Tech. – ECE & EE students. Details are as follows:

9) Directions to reach our college :
a) From Durgapur railway station : i) Mini bus from railway station – via MAMC. They will get down at B-1 more(25 minutes). From B1 more they will walk to Fuljhore more (5 minutes). From Fuljhore more rickshaw to college (7-8 minutes) .
b) From Durgapur railway station – 8 B minibus upto Fuljhore (40 minutes) from Fuljhore more, then as above .
c) Students coming by bus from Kolkata or Asansol side will get down at Muchipara crossing. From Muchipara 8 B minibus or if they travelling in groups can hire Auto upto college . Muchipara to College- 15 minutes.

1. ABOVE CANDIDATES HAVE BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR ALSTOM DRIVE WITH THE MINIMUM CRITERIA OF 65% IN XTH & XIITH AND 70% IN B.TECH. FROM EACH BRANCH TOP 10 CANDIDATES ARE ALLOWED FOR THE DRIVE FROM OUR INSTITUTE AND HENCE, FIRST TEN STUDENTS WILL HAVE FIRST PREFERENCE TO ATTEND THE DRIVE, IN CASE ANY ONE FAILS TO ATTEND THE DRIVE FROM THAT 10, NEXT THREE/FOUR (WAITING LIST) CANDIDATES MAY ATTEND THE DRIVE SERIAL WISE BUT NUMBER OF STUDENTS WILL NOT EXCEED 10.
2.Students who have already got offer from other company/s with the minimum salary of Rs.15K p.m. are strictly directed not to attend the drive.
3. Students who are in above list are requested to confirm their participation per return mail latest by tomorrow 12.00 Noon. Accordingly I will be able to send the list of final 10 candidates each Branch to the concerned person for their onward communication with the corporate without any delay.
Students are directed to reach the aforesaid venue before the scheduled time with college dress code.
