BBM (H) IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
To provide high quality, hands-on, career advancing educational opportunities within the context of a dynamic, technologically enabled, guest service focused and globally integrated hospitality environment.
Creating New TEMPOS in Global Business Education:
Career Centered Preparation:
Upon graduation, students will have met their external experiential requirements and attained invaluable development beyond the classroom that will have enabled them to be most well-rounded and highly qualified candidates in the job market.
Our small class sizes ensure an intimate, personalized learning environment with faculty and classmates. Moreover, an experienced hospitality faculty advisor will be available to students from the day they enroll at AIEMD until graduation.
Society of Hosteurs:
Students can become a part of the Society of Hosteurs, a college-wide student-run club that brings everyone within the AIEMD community together for a variety of social, charitable and educational activities. Club members cultivate career opportunities by participating in Hosteur events that put them in direct contact with industry leaders for dynamic career options. Students savor opportunities to work professional events and participate in industry focused tours, including vineyards, casinos, hotels, restaurants, trade shows, international travel tours, and more.
AIEMD’s Department of Hospitality Studies faculty and adjunct instructors bring unique and varied specialties with centuries of combined industry experience to provide our students with a progressive education in state-of-the-art facilities. Most of our faculty have held executive-level positions in the hospitality industry, and teach with an experienced eye towards career success.
Dynamic Hands-On Coursework:
From experiential internships, to beverage tasting courses, to on-site operations visits, our courses put you in intimate contact with the people and products that will prepare you for the industry upon graduation. Our BBM(H) degree enables our students to dedicate over sixty percent of their degree exclusively to our passion: Hospitality.
We offer outstanding student development through affiliations with internationally recognized hospitality organizations and associations, exclusive internship offerings and attendance at conferences providing unique and enriching professional developmental opportunities.
